Dr Rajaratnam Sundarason is registered as a plastic surgeon in Singapore with the Ministry of Health. He is also one of the founding member of the Singapore Association of Plastic Surgeons, and the Singapore Society of Cosmetic (Aesthetic Surgery).
Dr Rajaratnam Sundarason have undergone training in general surgery and plastic surgery. He held the position of Senior Lecturer (Senior Lecturer) in General Surgery at the Department of Surgery, University of Singapore. He was appointed as a part-time consultant in the field of plastic surgery by the Ministry of Health until 1992. Dr Rajaratnam Sundarason was also appointed to positions on the Board of Examiners of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
Dr Sundarason is a Fellow (doctoral student) at 3 Royal Collages of Surgeons (England, Glasglow, and Australia) and the Academy of Medicine (Singapore) in the field of plastic surgery. He was also awarded the Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
In addition to his extensive experience in cosmetic surgery procedures which include double eyelid surgery, facial rejuvenation (facelift), nose and chin implants, augmentation and breast reduction, abdominoplasty, liposuction and Botox injections and fillers, Dr R. Sundarason have treated cases of deformity / disability (due to) acute burns and post-burn, including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for leprosy patients.
Dr Rajaratnam Sundarason also performs hair transplant surgery Singapore for a variety of causes, ranging from hair loss on the scalp that is common in men (baldness), up to the eyebrows, eyelashes, chest, and beard. He also performs hair transplants for women when needed.
Dr Rajaratnam Sundarason is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons. He utilises the latest techniques for hair transplant: Follicular Unit Transplantation (Follicular Unit Transplantation / FUT) and Follicular Unit Extraction (Follicular Unit Extraction / FET) which is less invasive.
