Prior to joining Specialist Skin Clinic and Associates, Dr Neoh Ching Yin was practising at the National Skin Centre, Singapore. Apart from clinical work, Dr Neoh was a teaching faculty of National University of Singapore Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and taught undergraduate and postgraduate students. Dr Neoh Ching Yin was also active in research and had published scientific papers on autoimmune blistering disorders, oral ulcers, drug safety and various medical skin conditions. Dr Neoh continues to be active in public education on skin and hair issues through talks and media interviews.
Dr Neoh Ching Yin evaluates and treats all general medical and surgical conditions of the skin, mucous membrane, hair and nails in both adults and children. Her special interests include management of atopic eczema and medical dermatology that covers conditions such as psoriasis, lupus erythematosus, blistering skin diseases like pemphigus and pemphigoid and recurrent oral ulcers. In recent years, Dr Neoh has also developed a keen interest in the treatment and evaluation of hair loss.
Dr Neoh Ching Yin also provides services in cosmetic dermatology, including lasers for hair removal and pigmentation, Botox® injection, skin rejuvenation procedures with intense pulsed light (IPL) and Exilis® radiofrequency skin firming device.
Dr Neoh Ching Yin is effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin and speaks conversational Malay.
Dr Neoh Ching Yin received her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) degree from the National University of Singapore in 1999. She went on to attain her Masters in Internal Medicine and Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP, UK) in 2003. Dr Neoh is an accredited Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Chapter of Dermatology, Singapore. In 2008, Dr Neoh Ching Yin trained at the renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, USA, under the Ministry of Health, Singapore HMDP Program, specializing in immuno-dermatology and oral mucosal diseases.
