Let’s forget about those silicon-loaded, botox-laden, and incision-charged Barbies in the Korean entertainment industry for a moment and let’s shift our perspectives on the beauties in Korea. (Because hey, we’re still holding out hope that there are natural belles in the harsh entertainment business.)
Today’s guest is probably a diamond in the rough since she’s considered one of the most natural beauties in the Korean entertainment industry.
She is the only female member of one of the most popular game shows in Korea, Running Man and has acquired much fame over the years. But is it really possible for any Korean (female) celebrity to be squeaky clean of all plastic surgery procedures?
Looks like it’s going to be a tough and challenging one today but join us as we search every nook and cranny in the Song Ji Hyo plastic surgery transformation (if any).
So what are we waiting for? Let’s begin!
What better way to start this journey than a before and after comparison picture of the Goddess, Song Ji Hyo?
Unlike the other Korean celebrities who’s got Barney for a before and Barbie an after, it’s clear that this beauty has retained quite a bit of herself amidst this Song Ji Hyo plastic surgery transformation journey that we are embarking on.
Song Ji Hyo is one beauty to begin with but are we looking at a completely authentic Song Ji Hyo in the after?
Only a detailed analysis will tell.
Song Ji Hyo Plastic Surgery Transformation – Eyes
Looking at the above collage, it’s pretty tricky to tell if Song Ji Hyo has had anything done to her eyes.
In the before, it is pretty evident that the celebrity has got quite a set of conspicuous double eyelids to begin with.
She isn’t all mono-lidded and narrow-eyed, instead, she does have quite the alluring baby blues many Korean celebrities hanker after.
But the thing that’s bugging us is, her double eyelids weren’t as defined and pronounced as they are in the after picture.
Well, given her excellent track record in the beauty department, we’ll attribute the disparity to sleep deprivation, bad eye day (if there’s such a thing), terrible photo angle.
Whatever it is, we’ll give Song Ji Hyo the benefit of the doubt and rule blepharoplasty out of the Song Ji Hyo plastic surgery transformation.
Looking at the before and after picture, we see that Song Ji Hyo’s rather broad and squarish face is tamed and shaved down to a much smaller and sharper countenance.
Notice how her jaws are no longer as angular on the sides and are now tapered to a gentle v shape gradient?
Also, if we look at her cheekbones, we see that they are definitely much narrower than before.
One way to detect a zygoma reduction is to compare the distance between the eyes and the ears in the before and after shot.
A shorter distance between the eyes and the ears is one telltale sign of a zygoma reduction and that’s exactly what we see in this Song Ji Hyo plastic surgery procedure.
We got to admit, we are just as disappointed as you are since we were pinning our hopes on Song Ji Hyo that she would be that anomaly, that one beacon of hope to change our dogged opinion of the beauty in Korea.
Gradual transformation of Song Ji Hyo
Now that we have done quite a comprehensive scrutiny of the Song Ji Hyo plastic surgery transformation, let’s take a look at the celebrity from pre-debut till now.
Looking at the gradual transformation of Song Ji Hyo, we are deeply saddened that we were unable to debunk the Song Ji Hyo plastic surgery rumors.
It seems that not one celebrity in the Korean entertainment industry is able to escape the vice-like grip of plastic surgery.
Though slightly disheartened, we felt that the Song Ji Hyo plastic surgery procedures were pretty mild.
Unlike the other Korean celebrities that had such astronomical changes to their appearance, Song Ji Hyo kept very much of herself and we attribute the (almost redundant) changes to the terribly demanding nature of the Korean entertainment industry.
Let’s hope that Song Ji Hyo remains the Goddess that she is and does not succumb to yet another (unnecessary) Song Ji Hyo plastic surgery procedure.
